S. Sasha Jazayeri, M.D. Dr. Jazayeri earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of California, San Diego in 1994, and his M.D. degree from St Georges University School of Medicine in 1999. He finished a residency in family medicine, in 2002, at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey before completing his Dermatology Fellowship training at Advanced Dermatology Center in San Diego, California, and subsequently in Phoenix, Arizona in 2005. Since then, Dr. Jazayeri has been practicing at Alliance Dermatology, where he practices general and cosmetic dermatology, with emphasis on skin cancer detection and surgeries using Mohs technique. Dr. Jazayeri is the medical director for Physician Laser Centers, where we offer Fraxel Re:store, ReFirme skin tightening, FotoFacial RF, Matrix wrinkle reduction, laser hair and vein removal, laser acne treatment, Botox, Restylane, Perlane, Radiesse and Juvederm. He is also a clinical instructor and lecturer at Canyon State Lasers where he teaches cosmetic procedures and skin conditions to doctors and nurses. Heidi, along with her partners, ensures that each patient that calls or visits Physician Laser Centers receive personal attention in a no-pressure environment where questions are answered, realistic expectations are set and patients feel comfortable in their treatment decisions. Through her direct work with clients during the intake and treatment process, and her community outreach and education efforts, Heidi commits herself to the field and the patients that she works with. Heidi graduated Suma Cum-Laude from Arizona State University with a degree in global business and finance. She is active in the local nonprofit community and supports a variety of organizations, including Autism Speaks, Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of America and the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC). Dr. Jazayeri has maintained a very active professional life, dividing up his time between private practice, conducting research studies, volunteer work, attending specialty meetings and teaching. He has been the Principal Investigator in several notable national research studies including psoriasis, dermatitis and acne. The American Academy of Dermatology has recognized Dr. Jazayeri for his contributions as a physician participant in the free Melanoma and Skin Cancer Screening Programs, in 2004 and 2005. Dr. Jazayeri has also volunteered his expertise with the Red Cross in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he treated patients in need. In the past, he has also participated in newspaper and television interviews, including one on CBS Evening News to educate the general public on the danger and risk of sun exposure, and one regarding Fraxel laser for skin rejuvenation.

Michael Tantillo, C.L.T., Instructor/Owner Canyon State Laser Training and Physician Laser Centers. Michael has been in the salon/spa industry for over 20 years. He started in New York as the owner of hair/tanning salons and then moved to Arizona 15 years ago to open up small hair salons in Scottsdale. Five years later, he was one of the first in the industry to incorporate laser technology into a hair salon. In 2004, he opened up Scottsdales' largest full service medical spa/salon. He employed over 60 aestheticians, laser technicians, dermatologists, massage therapists, cosmetologists and nail technicians.
Today, he owns and operates Physician Laser Centers and Canyon State Laser Training. He treats patients, trains laser technicians and consults doctors and business owners on how to develop and run their own med-spa or salon. Michael has done extensive laser training under Dr. Patrick Bitter Jr. and Dr. Stephen Mulholland, the pioneers of the FotoFacial IPL technology. His experience and training has made him the leading provider in the Valley for the Fraxel Treatment and the reason patients feel confident trusting him to change their skin.

Heidi Brodt, director of operations for Physician Laser Centers, is passionate about educating patients so that they can make informed decisions about treatment options. She began her career in medical practice management nearly 15 years ago and spent the past nine years managing cosmetic medical practices for some of the Valley’s top plastic surgeons. Over the course of Heidi’s time in the aesthetic field, laser technology advanced rapidly, offering patients, who were not candidates for surgical procedures, access to treatments that would improve their skin and confidence. In 2005, she co-founded Canyon State Laser Training to educate professionals entering the field of aesthetic laser treatment and in 2007 she co-founded Physician Laser Centers.

With nearly three decades of experience working in the medical field, Diane’s extensive knowledge of cosmetic dermatology has positioned her as a key member of the treatment team at Physician Laser Centers. She has worked hands-on with corrective laser skincare technology for 18 years and is highly experienced with a wide range of modalities, including Alexandrite, Diode, Fraxel, ND Yag, Q Switched Ruby and the Urbum Elos Technologies (Matrix, ReFrime, Vascular and FotoFacialRF). In addition to serving as a team leader in the Physician Laser Center’s office, Diane is also a certified laser trainer.

Joanna Larimar began working in outside sales and advertising in 2000 after receiving her bachelorette’s degree in marketing and advertising from Arizona State University. Since joining Physician Laser Centers in 2008, Joanna has focused on building strategic business alliances and partnerships in the aesthetic field and beyond. She also works to recruit and retain students for Canyon State Laser Training, an aesthetic laser training school founded by the co-owners of Physician Laser Centers. Joanna’s enthusiasm for the industry, coupled with her innovative ideas about marketing and communications continue to advance the center’s visibility within the community.
